Allison Pregler Bio
Allison Pregler is a reviewer who reviews Z-grade films generally in the horror or martial arts genre, which is roughly comparable like The Cinema Snob but tending towards action-oriented dumb films and an obsession with the genre. She began reviewing movies in late 2009 after becoming well-known in their forum. (Under her old username Obscurus Lupa), she was invited to join on the Channel Awesome team. The site remained active until mid-2015 when Obscurus Lupa Presents was retooled into Movie Nights. She has two podcasts co-hosted and covering Charmed. After a controversial departure from Channel Awesome Allison officially announced on January 20th 2015 that she'd be revamping OLP into an impromptu review show called Movie Nights with an appropriately-shlocky elevator jazz theme. The first time she reviewed a film was late 2009. She gained a lot of attention through Channel Awesome. Channel Awesome forum before becoming part of their family. She has appeared on countless Channel Awesome shows from Atop the Fourth Wall to Phelous & the Movies. She was a former member of the Channel Awesome family alongside Doug Walker and was often seen in episodes of the Nostalgia Critic.
